COMMUNITY BASED ENGAGEMENT AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT  CAMP

   our college planned a camp for our second year students on 3.1.23-6.1.23.

     On first day of our camp starts with a inaugural function. The presidential address was given by Dr. P. Jeyanthi, principal of Govindammal Aditanar college for women. And the program was very useful to us to know about the camp. 

        ENHANCING LEADERSHIP QUALITIES 

    And the next programme was started by the welcome speech of Mrs. K. Sujavathi. Our beloved Cheif guest Mr. Dr. A. Nelson durai,Asst.prof in Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar college of Physical Education.He gives us the ideas about how to enhance the leadership qualities it was very helpful to us.

COMMUNITY SERVICE -GANTHIPURAM 

        On day Two our students were go to Gandhi puram village to Social work.We divided by five groups. The Blue group and Green group was clean the temple campus. And the Red group was go to near primary school for educate the students and clean the campus. And next the Pink group go to the houses to tells about the healthy life of the people. Next the Purple group goes to the near play school to educate the people. The activity eas very enjoyable and it helps us to improve our social skills

SPECIAL DEBATE

    After the works we came to our college and the next programme was a debate the topic is

தற்போதைய சூழலில் சுற்றுப்புற சூழல் மேம்படுத்தக்கூடிய வழிமுறைகள் பின்பற்றப்படுகிறதா? இல்லையா? The judge  Dr. T. Uma Asst. Professor in education was beautifully move the debate with humourable way at last the winners was  பின்பற்ற படவில்லை team. The programme was very intresting. 

RECENT TRENDS IN KARNATIC MUSIC

         After the lunch break a special programme was started by the welcome speech. The chief guest Mrs. K. Sujavathi, Asst. Prof in Performing arts. Our chief guest beautifully told us about how karnatic music involved in recent music. And also she give some activities and games to engage in the programme. The programme was end with an national anthem.

        FIRST-AID TRAINING 

        On the third day of our camp First-aid training programme was conducted by our college. Our chief guest J. Babu Selvakumar. Physiotherapist. Asst.prof in Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar college of physical Education. He shows how  to help the people with the basic medical help before the doctor arrives. It was very useful to know about first aid. 

         SMILE THERAPY FOR SELF-DEVELOPMENT 

             After the first- aid training Our professor Dr. H. Gayathiri. Asst. Prof in Physical Science education mam was says about Smile therapy.And she also explains smile therapy  is a way to leverage the power of a smile to influence physical and mental health. The programme was very intresting and helpful. 

              TRAFFIC RULES  REGULATIONS 

                 After our lunch the next programme was started by the welcome speech of DR. D. Jeyaseelan Selvakumar. Asst. Prof in Education. After the welcome speech our chief guest G. Sambath Kumar, RTO, thiruchendur. He started his speech with some videos about accidents of people who didn't follow the traffic rules and also he gives a book for students to motivate them to follow the rules. 

    FIRE AND SAFETY DEMONSTRATION.                        After that programme the fire and safety demonstration programme was started. Our cheif Guest Mr. S. Rajamoorthy,B. Sc, Fire station officer. He Demonstrate the class with the uses of 

Fire safety gases. And also he shows how to control various types of fire. 

      FINAL PROGRAMME

     At last the final programme was started after the tea break. The Chief lecturer Dr. T. Pon Ravi. Chief Medical Officer of Government Hospital, Thiruchendur. Who started his speech with the topic First-aid he demonstrate the class with how to give first aid to the people. The programme was end with an national anthem. 

6.1.2023

  ALL FAITH PRAYER

    On the fourth and last day of our camp starts with an all faith prayer in this programme all the staffs and students joins and sings all religion's songs and read their holy books it gives us a pleasant refreshing mind. 

CAMP FIRE PREPARATION 

              After our breakfast we assemble in multi purpose hall and the camp fire preparation was started by the welcome speech of Mr. P. Chella durai Asst. Prof in Education. After the welcome speech our Chief Lecturer Mr. K. Avudaiyappan.  District Training Commissionar of scouts and guides, Thirunelveli District. Who inspired us with his speech, songs, dance and different types of claps. And also show us how to makes different types of claps.And also he shows how to participate in camp fire. It was very useful for us. 

  VALEDICTORY FUNCTION 

       The programme was started by the welcome address of our respected principal sir Dr. P. Swamy dass sir after the welcome adress . After that Dr. A. D. Vinolia Vasanthi. Asst. Prof in Education gives the camp report. After that Presidential adress was given by Dr. D. S. Mahendran, Principal of Aditanar college of Arts and Science, Thiruchendur.After the vote of thanks the camp fire programme was started.

CAMP FIRE EVENTS

      On the camp fire programme all the student teacher trainees eagerly participated th programme. We enjoy the programme after the camp fire camp events was started by the house members. After the events our camp comes to an end.

         PONGAL CELEBRATION.  

                      Today we celebrate Pongal on our college. We make pongal on morning after that rangoli competition was started another side after that rangoli competition. A special pongal debate was conducted by our college Dr. Shreemathi.Asst.prof of Tamil literature at Govindammal Aditanar college for women, Thiruchendur.The topic of the debate was  தற்போதைய காலகட்டத்தில் தமிழ்பண்பாட்டை வளர்ப்பவர்கள் பழைய தலைமுறையினரா? புதிய  தலைமுறையினரா? She moves the debate with the humourable way. We all enjoy the programme. After that many games were conducted by the college.

CHRISTMAS DAY CELEBRATION

        Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends. The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and Stockings, making Christmas Cards and Hand-crafted bells were organized for the students. The students were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots.

               After the internship today our college was started.I meet all of my friends after a small break.And also we share about our experiences in school.

        SEMINAR ABOUT ROLE OF TEACHERS IN EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 

  On today a seminar program was conducted by our college Mr. Chithirai pon selvan our cheif guest was talk about the  Role of teachers in education for sustainable development it was very useful to our peers to know about the environment.

    CHRISTMAS PROGRAMME

    On 23rd December, our college  has organized a program to celebrate Christmas. The celebration was held in our college  auditorium. The entire auditorium was beautifully decorated with  lights, Christmas tree, and models. All the students and faculty members were very excited and full of enthusiasm for the celebration. After that, various programs were organized one after the other. 1st year and 2nd year students sing a beautiful songs on the theme of Christmas. After that, a man disguised as Santa Claus comes with chocolates and give gifts to the students . And our cheif guest  gave a detailed speech on why we celebrate Christmas.

Due to the rainy season our school management arranged a medical camp for illness of students.The pupil attend the camp and take medicines for their illness.

On today I was conduct a debate about environmental problems the topic of the debate is "The education is best when before corona or after corona".The students convey their opinions about the topic.

           CAMPUS CLEANING

 On 25th October to educate and to promote cleaning sense among students community. NCC club students went to all the classes and briefed about the importance of cleanliness of the campus. They were also informed to make the school campus & class rooms a beautiful place for one and it makes individuals healthier when the environment around them is healthy.

On today teacher's day was celebrated in our school. The principal sir governed each teachers on this programme.Then he gives gifts to appreciate the teacher's teaching.

On today the Environmental Program Thooimai Nigalvugal exhibition was conducted. The pupil make many useful things from wastes. And their arts was shown to the other pupils in the school.

     On today the drug Awareness program was conducted by the School.Mr.Ravikumar Inspector of Meignanapuram Police station. He gives awarness about causes and its effects of drugs towards to the pupil. Then the pupil takes pledge to not take any drugs.

          On 15 july onwards our second semester examination was started.We wrote our exams at V.O.C college of Education the examination was over at 20 july.
